Horsebread

Horsebread comes from a family term referring to the heel of a loaf of bread. My father's godmother used to save those for her horse and in my family the heel came to be known as "horsebread". It was years before I realized that I was the only one who knew what I was talking about when I mentioned the term. It taught me that a lot of how we perceive the world is based on our background and experiences. It has helped me to better understand others. I hope what I share is helpful to you also.
